Hello,

I am 35+2 and my baby has been quiet last night and today. Now I know any reduced or quiet moments with baby should be a call to the hospital but my baby does not have a pattern of movements. I’ve had this before when she’s been quiet, gone to the hospital and she’s started moving. Since I’ve felt movements, I have noticed quiet days and those are usually the days I’ll call the hospital. My midwife appointment last Friday, baby was moving so much that the midwife said if she carries on being erractic I should go to the hospital. I am finding it so hard to know what to do with movements. I do constantly worry as there isn’t a pattern. Anyone else’s baby been like this?

This stressed me out so much with my last pregnancy, it's so hard to assess!

Based on what you've said about having an erratic day last week and quiet day this week, I think that's enough to warrant a check-in at the hospital, if not just for reassurance. They'd always rather you get checked over if unsure x

I would call the hospital; it’s so hard to judge and always better to check these things
