Though this whole pregnancy ive not slept like, at all!! Ive posted before got some good advice but im.back again, when i say i dont sleep i get from 11- 1am then im awake all night, no amout of getting up for a bit, listening to sleep music, magnisum cream nothing works. I have to go into the spare room cuz i keep waking partner up but i cant sleep in there either. Im absoutly fed up, sick and tired and i feel horrific all the damn time, im miserable as sin and all i keep thinking is im going to be fit for nothing once baby is here and what the hell will i do when he does arrive if its now a habbit of being awake.

Any advice, i feel like this isnt normal at all

So you get just two hours a night? How long has that been for?

Have you spoken to your gp?

You poor thing. The end of pregnancy is absolutely brutal. I couldn't sleep with either of mine either and was desperate by the end. What happens if you try to sleep in the day? I managed by napping throughout the day and did the same when baby arrived, I just stayed in bed for the first two weeks and slept with them.

Go to your GP and ask them about taking a mild antihistamine like piriton once in a while, or even sominex. Insomnia in late pregnancy almost killed me, the Dr was very happy to let me have occasional mild antihistamines for the sake of my mental and physical health.

And if it's any comfort, I got more sleep once the baby was out than I did when she was in.

You're almost there, you can do this 💪🏻

This I think it's hormonal to prepare you for the night wakings. It's ok, it's normal hopefully you are not trying to work as well.

I was prescribed phenergran sleeping tabs had them for 10 weeks till about 17 weeks but i came off them as i felt guilty for taking them and i needed to come off them for the 3rd trimester anyway.
