Hello, just looking for a bit of support. Iv had no viable pregnancy so far. In 2021 I had a MMC at 10 weeks and two months ago I had a chemical at 5 weeks. Found out on Wednesday either a very very faint line I was pregnant. Did the digital weeks on AF due date and came back with 1-2. Iv been testing like crazy with my anxiety that something isn't right. I also used OPK so I know when I ovulated. Iv attached my test. I think I am 17DPO. AF was due on Friday. I don't think this is looking good compared to other people's lines so preparing for the worse.

Keeping everything crossed for you, it's so hard not to overanalyse everything when you've experienced losses and so desperately want it to work out. Not mega dark at 17dpo isn't necessarily a bad sign, it could be quite a late implantation. Really hoping this one works out for you op.

I'm feeling a little bit better. Just done a clear blue and compared to Thursday is darker. Hopefully my line progresses

Can you get any FRER from Amazon? Would also try different times of day - my FMU was worse than later on and I just started doing tests at 11am (third morning urine). Some have better luck in the evening

Yeah they look about right hun. Try not to stress. I always like the pink dye tests

@jadey1991 thank you lovely. I'm a bloody bag of nerves. Iv been doing the Premom IC but that are even fainter then the clear blue. I'm on countdown to Thursday to test again with clear blue to compare. X

Please stop testing, it is not going to tell you anything.

Make an appointment to have your hCG levels checked, it’s the only way you’re going to know if the pregnancy is progressing as it should.

Good luck. I’ve been in your shoes more than once so please believe me when I tell you that pregnancy tests are designed to give a yes or no answer. I know some people use them to measure progression but that’s not what they are for and can feed into your anxiety.

My lines were not very dark at 17dpo. Unpatiently waiting for my twelve week scan later this week, but I did see a heart beat at a 9 week scan.

I would step away from the tests. If you don't have any bleeding assume that things are progressing. Serial testing can be really stressful. If you want to keep testing try and wait 2/3 days in between so you can see the progression better.

I didn't get a strong line until about 21 DPO. please stop testing, it's not indicative of how the pregnancy is progressing, i wish people on MN would stop suggesting it is. better to get a private blood test for HCG if you really need reassurance.

And at this stage, levels will be low so tests will likely vary anyway, also depending how hydrated you are

With my second pregnancy my tests were incredibly faint, even when I was past my period date. I had my bloods checked and my hcg levels were low but was told just to wait and see what happens. I panicked but a really lovely midwife told me it was all out of my hands and nothing I could do so just to keep myself busy and try remain positive.
I’m now 19 weeks pregnant with a little one who’s kicking away. I seen the midwife again and she said that a positive test is a positive test no matter how faint or dark the lines are.
