Anyone else embarking on pregnancy for the second time around with a toddler to look after? I feel like I did not appreciate the time I had to rest, sleep and generally do nothing the first time around. Anyone else? And any activity ideas to keep a 2.5 year old occupied for longer than 5 seconds welcome!!

Me! 2.5 year old and wondering how the later months will go. Good luck!

Yes! I am 22+4 weeks pregnant and my lg is 18 months, will be 22 months when this baby comes along! Excited but also feeling tired at the thought of it😂

Congratulations @SJ89SJ when are you due?
Ahh how's you're pregnancy going @PeeBeee, were your early symptoms etc similar or the same? I'm just 5 weeks so along way to go yet 😅

I completely relate. All the first time mums in the pregnancy group I’m in have been going off on trips or spending the day in bed etc. It just seems like total luxury to be pregnant and just be able to concentrate on yourself. I’m currently 31 weeks and finding it difficult especially as my son keeps asking to be lifted up. He’ll be 2.5 years when baby is born.

I’m 16 weeks pregnant with DC2 and have a 4 year old. I underestimated how knackered I would be in early pregnancy and sick I would be feeling slightly better now - wow it’s so tough! Wish you all the very best with your new addition and toddlers!

@Catson yeah pretty much the exact same! Constant nausea and being sick but then I hit 15-16 weeks and felt great! Both little girls🥰 congratulations to you! X

I’m 35 weeks and have a 3 year old. I’m huge and it’s been a while since i’ve been able to tackle soft play and swimming with him. The park is now also getting tough. Managed garden centre yesterday but admittedly he’s watching a lot of tv with me, and then my DH will take him out. Thankfully he has a great time at nursery!

Feel your pain. 22 weeks with baby #2 and a 21 month little boy who still sleeps pretty badly.

colouring in tends to give me 10 mins respite until he decides he’s bored. We have embraced TV time way more than usual (I know some don’t like this so no judgement please, I’m knackered and if it gives me a break then I’ll use it 😂).

it was much easier when it wasn’t chucking it down 100% of the time though!
