Hi, I’m 5 weeks pregnant and I’ve been cramping not bad period cramps but also I don’t tend to get cramps and when I do they aren’t bad like maybe on a pain level 2/10 and these cramps are maybe like a 3 , having backaches, really bad headaches and (TMI coming) feel very wet, I have this feeling that something just isn’t right, if that makes any sense at all?

I have a DS and I didn’t experience this at all the first time had really bad nausea from 5 weeks which turned out to be HG but no cramping or back ache or this feeling that something isn’t right!

Hello,

I'm also 5 weeks pregnant and have similar symptoms to you except the headaches!

I had a MMC in July and this pregnancy feels really different to the one before, no sickness, no sore boobs and that is panicking me slightly that it is so different.

I have the flo app and when I log my symptoms it gives me an explanation for each one. I get on and off back ache but it's more like sciatica that cramps? Flos explanation is the hormone relaxin, it relaxes your muscles so things start to ache a bit more.

The increased discharge feeling is apparently to protect the baby from infection and due to increased blood supply.

Hope some of this is helpful!

Hey, I had all them symptoms at the start. Now 15 weeks and all going okay, for me a lot of that eased around 7 weeks and the sickness kicked in! Every pregnancy is different so hopefully all will be fine for you this time around just different mix of symptoms, all the best!

I also had those cramps for about the first 6 weeks and sometimes still do. Midwife said it’s just your body stretching a preparing. It’s definitely quite concerning initially as it’s so similar to menstrual pain. I also have had almost daily headaches and more moisture down there🙈…sounds like we are having quite similar symptoms and I just had an early scan and saw the little heartbeat so try not to worry too much!

Hi, I just wanted to nip in and say that I have just been diagnosed with a MMC, 12 weeks, embryo 6.2 weeks and still retained. I had lots o symptoms and still have but someone on another thread said that they had had two MMCs and two healthy pregnancies and live births and it was the live births where they had had far fewer pregnancy symptoms in the early days so I think it is just that every pregnancy Is different. Dont let having fewer symptoms worry you x

@Longbarn5 Thank you so much for your reply, it's feels really good to hear that as I've not heard it before! It definitely makes thing easier not having as many symptoms but easier to forget your pregnant as well.

I'm sorry for your loss and for it taking so long for you to find out as well, heart breaking.

I had a bleed at 6 weeks which meant I had tests etc, had an early scan with a heartbeat despite hcg not doubling, next scan no heartbeat and had a medically managed miscarriage at 9 weeks.

That sounds exactly like me at 5 weeks. Lots of cramping and back pain and insane amounts of discharge. All is OK so far (12 weeks now). Every time I'd different so I wouldn't worry too much!

Sorry for your early loss too. Wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy this time. Cant make my mind up how I want the actual process to be. All choices sound pretty ghastly but this embryo just wont leave of it's own accord it seems.

@Longbarn5 Yes they all seem awful don't they! I'm a big over thinker so the thought has crossed my mind already about which option to choose this time and I really wouldn't have a clue!
