Hi all,

I have my first midwife appointment tomorrow , I don't know how many weeks I am due to not getting a period , I've taken 3 tests at home which have all came back positive , will MW test again tomorrow to confirm ? I know you can't get a false positive but it's been many years since my last child and I can't remember how it all works and what happens at appointments etc .

@EllieT87 my first mw appointment I had scan and spoke about everything I need to take and how I feel and coz I had twins I needed to be seen every two weeks

No. They won't test.

It'll be: blood tests, urine dip (but not for hCG), weighing you, and lots, and lots, and lots, and lots, of questions about your medical history. As well as any relevant medical history of whoever provided the second half of your baby's DNA and your family.

You would honestly think I've not had a child before because I can't remember a thing. Would the urine be for infections if not an actual pregnancy test then ? I think I possibly could have a wee uti.
