FRER line staying the same but cheap strip tests progressing

Has anyone had this before? My FRER test lines don’t seem to be progressing but my cheap test strips do. Don’t really know what to think

I had this!

My frer on 13dpo and 15dpo were really worrying as 15dpo was lighter.

However, all was fine and I'm currently 37 weeks pregnant.

I found my pee gave stronger lines in the evening.

Yes, it slowly did but some days were lighter than the previous day and this really freaked me out.

I think it's best to do the test at the same time every day, 2 days apart.
Easier said than done!

I think I’m not going to test until Saturday now!

I'm going through the same thing except my strips are staying light / fading, while FRER is darker / darkening. It's so stressful. I'm trying to reduce how much I'm testing

@User657891 ahh it’s so annoying! I honestly don’t know what to think and it’s stressing me out

To be fair, they look fine to me. The lines on the cheap tests are very dark so that's rather positive I think.

It's a really obvious positive on the frer and I do think the last one looks thicker in places. It's not an exact science so don't freak out about it. Congratulations.

@WonderingWanda your right. I did another strip test today which has gone darker..

Honestly, I drove myself mad testing but it varied a lot day to day and I worried so much for no reason.

Please stop testing. it's not indicative of how the pregnancy is progressing.

I feel happier now I’ve seen the line progression on the cheap strips, was just a worrying with FRER but yes I am going to stop testing now! It causes so much anxiety!

@PinkRoses1245 is spot on, it won't tell anything about well your pregnancy is progressing. It only tells you that you are indeed pregnant.

Hi....I know this is an old thread but wondering how this turned out? I'm in a similar position after 2 miscarriages so I'm going insane! My progression has stalled on boots tests (similar to FRER) but is progressing on the cheapies xx

Yeah I'm in a bit of limbo, similar to you I'm showing little progression on the expensive tests but definite progression on the cheapies! I really hope it's a happy ending like yours

@hja62 they look really positive! I wouldn’t worry, I got so obsessed over looking at the lines and got myself all worked up about it. If you can try and step away from the tests! Wishing you a healthy pregnancy and good luck! :) xxx

Thanks so much! I've had great progression in the cheapies since so I think you're right I need to step away from the tests now and stop obsessing 🙈
