Maternity Pay query due to company aquisition

Hi there!
I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant. The company I work for is due to be acquired by another company at the end of this month. My current employer offers a generous maternity package of 6 months full pay. The new employer offers statutory only.
I have logged my pregnancy with my current employer who has confirmed by current package.
Will I remain entitled to my original employer's package even though I'll transition over to the new company before baby arrives?
If not, is this something an employment lawyer could help me negotiate?

Thanks in advance for any guidance or advise

@Mumtobe12345678 you should be protected by Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) regulations (TUPE) which state that a new employer takes over employees’ employment contracts including all the previous terms and conditions. So you should be entitled to six months full pay.
