Hello ladies, I have 2 first response clear blue test done at 8DPO the result were very faint lines the 15 mins later they turned positive with a skinny line. Could you please let me know did anyone experience the same thing. And if they turned up to be positive or negative. Many thanks!

If this showed up after the time frame then I think it’s an evap, especially as it’s so skinny.

Skinny lines like that are always evaps.
It doesnt mean it wasnt a faint positive before... But the darker, skinny line? Not positive.
I would suggest testing again tomorrow morning, and if possible using a red dye test, as those have less evap lines.

I didn't use any CB tests until the day of my missed period. It may have been a positive super faint line for you initially, but would hold off testing with those ones for a few more days.

I got my faint BFP using the cheapie strips (One step) with pink dye around 8DPO so maybe order a pack of them if you wanna test loads before AF is due?

Thank you ladies! I was just confused as both of them turned up to be the same. The line turned up to be darker after 15mins. I m currently 10dpo I have tested again with boots stripes and turned to be negative. But the sensitivity of these stripes are less sensitive. What is the best time to test? I have had two children before my hcg levels were always in the low side.

First morning urine xx

Was it a visible line when you tested or faint ?

Clearblue are so bad for these. Get a boots early results test and use first morning urine. 8dpo is too early to expect a positive result. You don’t implant until at least 6dpo and can take up to 12 dpo. As hard as the wait is I’d really try to leave it as close as your period due date as you can.
