Hi everyone, would like some advice
I’m 35 weeks pregnant and suffer with active Graves’ disease and hyperthyroid. My medication was switched to PTU yesterday because the carbimazole isn’t working. Well I’ve had a sinus infection last few days and today my headache has been so severe which I’ve just put down to this virus, I took pain killers for it and it settled a little but still a constant dull ache, but I’ve just been sick on top and now I’m concerned.
I was sick after coughing so I’m like is that just why? Or is it the PTU medication as I must admit it tastes vile (I took it a couple hours before vomitting) or worst case scenario do I go and get checked for preeclampsia or am I being OTT?
I had a scan done 2 days ago and BP and everything was fine
