Hi everyone!

7 days until my c section and all of a sudden all the little things are making me anxious!

I have the MAM electric steriliser - and just have a couple of questions if anyone can help please?

  1. I understand you disassemble the bottle - does this include removing the rubber parts, from the bottom and the teat?
  2. How do I dry them? Or can you keep them in the steriliser until you need to use? Just thinking you wouldn’t wipe them etc as surely this would be worse than using them wet since the condensation would be sterilised ? .. if anyone has any tips for this I would much appreciate it!!

Thanks all 🥰 xxx

If you have the Mam bottles then yes, you take them all apart to wash them and put them in the steriliser.

They don’t need to be dried. you can leave them in the steriliser until you’re ready to use them. But I use washing up gloves to assemble ready for use. I think they stay sterilised for 24 hours but I was never that bothered about tracking that. It’s impossible to do it perfectly - do what you can!

thank you for your reply! Yes using all mam bottles.. I was guessing this might be the case but don’t want to be doing it wrong. Makes sense, thanks again! X
