Anxiety in pregnancy

Hi everyone, I am in the third trimester and have been a bit anxious over the last few weeks. It's all manageable but I'm aware that I have a faster pulse than normal, not sleeping well, etc.) The anxiety is not really about the pregnancy itself, it's because we are moving to another country and my current landlord is being very difficult- just things I could be doing without. Anyway, what's making me worry more is the negative impact this anxiety could be having on my baby. I have stopped googling things because this makes me more anxious! Has anyone had a similar experience?

You need to relieve yourself of as many jobs and admin tasks as possible and tell your partner to step up and do them and you need to rest

Ps I went through stress and traumatic break up 8 months pregnant and my baby is fine and happy boy and sleeps very well

Just Re your pulse, its always going to be much faster in 3rd trimester.

The average bpm goes to like 90. It's also more common to get palpitations.
That's just due to the changing body rather than anxiety.

Gosh, you really went through a lot at the end of your pregnancy @Unexpectedlysinglemum

@AllAlloveragain3 That's true. I can definitely feel the fact that my pulse rate has gone up generally and have had what seems like palpations when I'm not feeling anxious. So it's probably a combination of general worry and bodily changes too.

Yup!

I'm ok now though ☺️

Basically just don't stress about being stressed if at all possible!

I also found a Hypnobirthing course helped me catch my thoughts even though I had an elective c section the course gave me such good techniques

@Unexpectedlysinglemum Oh that's interesting!! Yes, it's exactly that - worrying about worrying! I'll look into hypnobirthing.

The pulse does go up massively as pregnancy goes on. Mine was over 100 resting by the end (which is too high really) and 120+ when walking.

I'm sorry you're having such a tough time. Sorry to be a cliche, but have you tried meditating? It really does help with anxiety. Either way your baby will be absolutely fine.

@tunapoketunapokebowl You're not being a cliché. I have done meditation but very haphazardly and not enough to feel the benefits. I have been told from friends and family who meditate regularly that it does work wonders!
