Pregnacare, plus higher strength folic acid on prescription due to other factors.

Proceive this time, pregnacare with previous two, but it caused some nausea.

At a very minimum you need folic acid and vitamin D

Proceive as well together with their Omega 3 supplements. They have packs for each trimester and I found that I tolerated them well.

I've been taking the Zita West ones all through, just about to enter trimester 3 here. Found them to be really good - though it's 3 tablets a day so it's a lot! I'm also taking additional folic, magnesium, asprin and vit d/calcium so it's a lot of tablets! 😂but i think that's probably overkill! The midwife offered me free vitamins but then said what I was taking was probably better quality than the free ones they offer

This is what I've ordered going to start them tomorrow and probably take a bit more vitamin D with them.

@LizzeyBenett I've found them good, no issues taking them and no sickness feelings or anything! They've got good quality ingredients as well!

I'm taking Superdrug's own prenatal vitamins. They're suitable for vegetarians (not all prenatal vitamins are) and they're easily available (I have a Superdrug close to home and work).

I'm also taking 5mg folic acid on prescription for the full 9 months as I'm on medication which means I need to take a higher dose of folic acid.

Hi, but I see their ingredients have vitamin A which make me a bit hesitating......

Sara1988 · 07/07/2024 22:38

Proceive plus vegan omega and vit d

OopsieeDaisy · 07/07/2024 23:38

I started off taking separate vitamin d and folic acid (supermarket brand) but switched to Tesco own brand pregnancy vitamins which I found good.
