Different baby in each scan?!

I started looking up nub theory now I’m confused. My baby looks like a clear boy in one, and a girl in the other?! Both nub and skull. Any thoughts?

Both nub and skull theory have been completely wrong for both my children so I wouldn’t get too caught up about it. Will you do a gender scan or wait till the 20 week scan?

No idea what nub theory is but foetus skulls aren't different depending on sex.
The only way to tell the baby's sex is if there is a clear genital shot.
12 weeks is too early to tell the sex and I can't see genitals in either photo.

Skull theory has been disregarded. All skulls are the same shape until adolescence. Nub theory can be very accurate as long as you have a clear shot, unfortunately I don’t think either of those photos shows a clear nub so it’s not possible to say.

It’s not a different baby. 🙄you’ll be able to find out for sure with time. What’s the rush?

@Hiddenvoice Ah this is good to know! Will wait for 20w scan and have no preference, I was just reading up on the theories and totally baffled by it!

@caban yeah of course you’re right. Everything else is 50/50, could guess with as much chance with my eyes shut!

I was just reading up on nub theory out of curiosity, and this looked like a boy nub to me!
