Pregnancy after multiple Colposcopies

Hi, I'm just wondering how many women have had cervical cancer removed multiple times and still managed to have healthy pregnancies. I've had the procedure 3 times and now pregnant. So just want to ease some worries.
Also was sex during pregnancy an issue?

You’ll just end up having scans to monitor your cervix from around 16 weeks and if it’s found to be shortening they pop a stitch in. I had a LLETZ treatment and have had cervical scans with my second and third pregnancies. Both went full term with no shortening and no problems having sex in pregnancy. They will tell you if it’s something you need to abstain from

Thank you, I'm going doctors tomorrow so will discuss the previous treatment, it's just been concerning me.

It’ll be on you records, they’ll organise it all at your 8 week booking in appointment with the midwife. The drs don’t tend to deal with maternity stuff anymore

I learnt this today when I rang the docs and they gave me a link to a website for self referral. A lot has changed since my last kid 10 years ago haha

@Silverchalk46 theres 10 years between my first and second and it was like starting all over again. There’s only 2.5 between my second and this one and there’s still been some changes

It's strange isn't it. Only feels like yesterday with my 10 year old as well.
