No symptoms in 3rd pregnancy - likely MMC?

I’m currently 7.5 weeks pregnant but other than feeling slightly queasy on a couple of occasions I don’t have any symptoms. I already have 2 children and suffered with nausea in both pregnancies, which I think started around 6 weeks. I had a miscarriage earlier this year (started miscarrying at 9 weeks but baby had stopped growing at just over 7 weeks), and I think I had the usual nausea in that pregnancy, though now starting to think perhaps it wasn’t as bad as the previous ones and perhaps that was a sign I missed.

I keep thinking I must be heading for miscarriage again because of the lack of nausea, but just wondered if anyone else has had a successful pregnancy without symptoms when they’d had symptoms in a previous pregnancy?

Not sure I can stand waiting until 12 weeks so considering a private scan sooner!

I had a MMC at 10+6 in January, found out at 13+2. Had all the symptoms, belly and breasts grew, vomitting was 10x worse than both my healthy pregnancies. Migraines daily. The symptoms were actually the strongest in that pregnancy! It's missed because your body doesn't realised the baby has died, so continues to act as though you are pregnant and therefore doesn't miscarry naturally. Atleast not for a while or without intervention.

I don't think lack of symptoms is a sign of a mmc but every pregnancy is different xx

@thehourwaslate I absolutely get your worry (I had a MMC in April) but as PP said, every pregnancy is different. Are your two children the same sex? I've heard some women have very different pregnancies when carrying different sexes..? But I think some also have very different experiences even if both the same so there's no knowing really. Unfortunately, probably the only way you'll get some peace is seeing a healthy scan. I've just had a BFP which I hardly dare believe and I know trimester 1 is going to be a bumpy ride emotions wise! Wishing you all the best and lots of healthy baby vibes 💕

Thank you both for replying. Sorry to hear of your losses. Congrats @SnookyPook on your good news, hope it all goes well!

I’ve heard that the sex can have a bearing on symptoms, however I’ve got one of each so the didn’t seem to be the case for me!

I think you’re right that the only way to stop the worry is a scan.

I’ll make sure I return and update this thread with the outcome for anyone in a similar position who stumbles across this!

I had a MMC stoped growing at 9 weeks, felt no pregnancy symptoms

Had a MC at 8 weeks where I was feeling awful sick etc

Had a successful pregnancy (but was v worried & under RMC by that stage) where I had no symptoms whatsoever. We only ever sick twice in pregnancy so all was fine & the one where I "felt pregnant" miscarried earlier

I had multiple scans I paid for to rest my mind but all was well & I was lucky with a relatively easy pregnancy

My first I had loads of symptoms from really early on, then miscarried at 7 weeks. My second I had virtually no symptoms aside from a slightly queasy/hungover feeling, she’s now 9mo and fast asleep next to me. Fingers crossed everything is fine for you, but I do get your worry as I was exactly the same with DD.

@Minster2012
I’m sorry for your losses. Thank you for sharing your experience. It gives me hope that it won’t necessarily be bad news for me this time.

I had a MMC at 13 weeks (baby stopped developing at 10 weeks) and had symptoms from about 6 weeks onwards. Now 12 weeks pregnant and had no symptoms at all until 9 weeks. Then the nausea really kicked in at about 10 weeks. Every pregnancy is different, it’s nothing to worry about.

Just an update, I booked a private scan and all was well, 9 weeks as expected and heartbeat was detected. Hoping all fine for 12 week scan in a few weeks.
