Long cycle - any stories / advice about when to test

Hi everyone, I’m feeling really deflated and upset because I’ve just had another BFN (have tested a few times this past week - all with CB 6 days early) and feel I had my hopes massively up as I’ve had a lot of symptoms.

I’m not sure if it’s genuinely potentially too early for a BFP or if I’m just clinging onto that hope now.

My cycle is about 38-42 days and pretty regular.

I think I might have ovulated between 30th Oct - 2nd Oct (I got a flashing smiley on CB OPK on 29th but didn’t test after that.) So I could be about 11-13DPO. I’ve had a lot of weird cramping since 30th on and off. Like nothing I’ve felt before. It stopped on around the 5th Oct then I’ve had it again the past two nights but not in the day. Have felt very sick - it’s been waking me up about 6am every day. The other day I was so tired I went for a nap and as soon as I started drifting I got a huge surge of nausea like was actually going to vom. Boobs feel twice the size and incredibly painful. V oily skin and spots which I never get.

No sign of AF. Normally if I get period pain AF shows up within a few hours.

Any stories of people getting a BFN around this time (11-13 DPO) then getting an BFP later? Anyone else have a long cycle and know what this means for best time to test?

Is there still a chance I could get a BFP?

Thank you 🙏

I’m wondering if the cramping from the past couple of days could be implantation .. in which case would it be too early to test? Yup overthinking / grasping at straws big time over here 🤣
