Hi, im 31 weeks today and my baby is pretty much permanently transverse. Its quite uncomfortable as it kicks/hangs out really hard on my right hand side.
Have tried some inversions as per the spinning babies website but nothing is shifting it. I have ready that they should have moved by 3rd trimester and as the weeks tick on im getting worried.
Getting worried its uncomfortable in there and hasnt got enough space...also worrying ill need a c section.
Any advice?
Thanks

Hello,

I had a scan today, I’m 32+4 and my baby is breech and laying to the side. The sonographer said there is still plenty of time for her to turn into correct position and that usually happens by 36 weeks. I had another appointment just 2 weeks ago and she was head down, I don’t think I’ve felt her turn herself around so lots of room still in there for them.

still plenty of time for baby to move. don’t worry yet

You have plenty of time, most babies move by around 36 weeks.

Loads of time yet.

I'm 30 weeks and mine has been transverse the whole time too. He is all squashed up at the bottom of my womb and stretches his legs sideways right to my hip bone and kicks it from the inside 😂 it hurts!
I was just advised he will probably turn on his own.
My friend said her baby was transverse until around 34 weeks, then one day she was in the shower and felt him do a full turn to the head down position
Good luck to us both! x
