Short femur and humerus length

Hi, I had a growth scan today at 34 weeks and was told the femur and humorous are measuring off the chart. At 23 weeks the femur length was just on the border, now it is way below it. Anyone had this experience or charts like mine? I have added both charts. I am so worried and booked in for another growth scan in 2 weeks.

My dd’s head circumference was off the chart and all was ok. She has a slightly large head but I wouldn’t have noticed if it wasn’t for the scans. Any small deviation of a mm or 2 can make a huge difference to the percentiles. And the measurements are only averages too. It’s very possible that all is ok. Good luck going forward.

Hi, I'm 34 weeks too and our little one's femur length is also small on the growth scan at 60.1mm. It has grown since the last one.
They did say at this stage they are more concerned with their abdominal circumference though. It's a scary time, and so frustrating that there's nothing you can do as a parent to influence the outcome, and no way to know what will happen in the end.
Hopefully you'll have a plan at your next scan, it feels like an age away though doesn't it.

@justsayso It definitely feels like an age away, did they tell you to come again in 2 weeks too? Are all your other measurements roughly below the middle too? It’s so worrying but I’m trying not to worry as that can only make things worse.

Hello, can you please give an update? Im going through a similar situation now.

Not OP but I had this with DD - her legs were TINY on a scan at around 26 weeks and I convinced myself she'd be born with no legs. It must have been a measurement error as she came out with very normal length legs.

Im so happy for you. I hope i have the same outcome. Do you mind sharing with me the measurements you got during your scans for femur length? Mine started measuring 2 weeks behind from week 32. From each scan they have grown, but always remain 2 weeks behind everything else.

Hi, sorry for the late update my baby was born smaller overall at 2.9kg. So, not too small but a lot smaller than my other children but he is perfectly proportional and all the worry was for no reason.
