Constant white blood cells in urine - third trimester

Hi ladies
throughout the third trimester every time I have urine dipped it keeps showing leukocytes which my midwives are telling me are white blood cells.
first couple of times they put me on antibiotics but when the urine samples went to the lab they came back positive.
again today I had my urine dipped and it showed leukocytes - the midwife said again she’ll send off to the lab but she’s concerned about me not being on antibiotics until the results come back. Told me to speak to GP for their advice, they said go back to midwives as this late in pregnancy they can’t help. Couldn’t get through to midwives but managed to speak to the admin ladies who answer the community midwives call, and they told me to go back to GP. Was getting nowhere so I just left it, but I also don’t actually want to take anymore antibiotics given the fact that this keeps happening.
last time I asked triage this question the midwives told me two different things - one told me it’s fine to leave it until results are back as not good to treat something that’s not there, and then another midwife said that’s wrong they should treat regardless.
Anyway, I’m not so worried about not treating a possible infection but just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced the same thing where these white blood cells keep showing but no infection …..

Hi @Anonymouslyconercned just wanted to reassure you, I'm 33 weeks with twins and have had +1 or +2 leukocytes on pretty much every urine test (I'm inpatient at hospital currently as twins are due to come out in a week or two so have them daily) my consultant and midwives aren't concerned, could just be discharge related if you don't have any other UTI symptoms

Hi OP, with both my pregnancies I also had +1/+2 leukalytes in my urine. Midwives said its OK and I was never put on antibiotics for it. They said they only worry when it's +3/+4 can you ask them if they know the level of the white blood cells?

I hope you're OK and the last bit of you're pregnancy goes smoothly.
