We had our 20 week anomaly scan today and they found the right kidney was dilated at 10.1mm and the left was in normal range at 6mm.
We have now been referred to fetal medicine and we have a 32 week scan booked in where they will also check for Down’s Syndrome which can be linked to dilated kidneys. We also have the option of paying for a NIPT or amniocentesis if we are particularly anxious before the 32weeks she said.
I was wondering if anyone has been in this position before?
