4w6d - am I 4 weeks or 5 weeks pregnant?

I’ve had bleeding so am booked in for an early pregnancy scan, which can only be done once I’m 6 weeks. The first day of my last period was 7th Sept. My GP days I will be able to have a scan on Friday (because I’ll be 5w1d, hence in my 6th week). However the hospital says it has to be next Friday when I’m 6w1d, because only then am I 6 weeks….

Which one’s right…?

I would imagine it would be next week when you are 6weeks.

Id have thought the hospital is correct. They might do a pregnancy test first.

Hospital are right, if you’re 5 weeks 1d, then you’re 5 weeks. If you’re 6weeks 5days then you’re 6 weeks etc 😊
