Hi there,

This is my first post on here so apologies if I don’t have the right lingo or abbreviations 😊

I just found out that I’m 6 weeks pregnant after trying since the beginning of the year 🙌, I unfortunately suffered a chemical pregnancy a couple of months ago but managed to get the courage to try again.

I already have one child who is 2 and remember vividly when I was pregnant with her that as soon as week 6 came I was sick as a parrot and ended up with HG and was hospitalised twice with it.

Now I’m just sort of anxious and nervous as I don’t seem to be having any symptoms and I guess I’m just scared of this one not working out too 🙁

So I’m just wondering when did your morning sickness start in your pregnancies?

My first I was sick a few times up until 12 weeks. Second I had nothing at all, third I was sick once around 10 weeks which is when hcg peaks. You may not get anything at all this time.

Congratulations and sorry for your previous chemical pregnancy. With my first I didn't any symptoms and with my second I had awful nausea all day every day, very different pregnancies.

First, week 7 to week 21

Second, from the day I got a positive test to the minute he was born. This was an extreme case!

MamaBear2210T · 09/10/2023 22:21

6 weeks till nearly 17 weeks

ActDottie · 09/10/2023 22:59

I felt sick at 6 weeks but that eased if I ate lots of food. Then around week 7 was when I was actually throwing up… still being sick at 26 weeks :(

I said to the midwife at my 8 week appointment I was only having one baby as the sickness was so horrible and she said sickness varies by pregnancy so I wouldn’t worry too much that you’re not sick yet! And hopefully you don’t get sick at all!

Findyourneutralspace · 09/10/2023 23:00

Never. Just a bit of nausea in the first 10 weeks, and intermittently later with my second one when I was hungry and tired.

MartyFunkhouser · 09/10/2023 23:05

Never! I was lucky both times and had no sickness whatsoever. In fact, I had no symptoms at all and was convinced there was nothing in there until I had my early scans.

I was exactly the same! No sickness, no sore boobs, no cravings, nothing!

Anoisagusaris · 09/10/2023 23:09

Never had morning sickness and had 3 uncomplicated pregnancies.

mynamechangemyrules · 09/10/2023 23:11

All 4 no sickness. It's why I missed the 4th until 17 weeks 😳😬
Good luck for it all but don't wait for any 'typical' things. I didn't have any.

Mummyofone2021 · 10/10/2023 05:19

Thank you everyone, it’s made me feel better that so many of you had minimal or no symptoms. 😊

Never woohoo - now 22 weeks.
Did not really have any symptoms at all in first trimester and my tiredness only ramped up in the second!

congrats x

DemelzaRobins · 11/10/2023 10:24

In all 3 of my pregnancies the nausea began before my missed period.

The nausea was manageable with the first pregnancy (ectopic, ended with surgery at 7+4). Same with the second (ended in miscarriage at 5+2, that one was in utero as EPU scanned me due to previous ectopic).

I'm currently 6+3 and the nausea was a bit miserable initially but is now much worse and I'm having to eat plainer foods. I haven't actually been sick yet but I fear it's only a matter of time. I had a scan at 5+3 which showed the pregnancy is in utero and I have a viability scan a week today at 7+3. I'm hoping the nausea being worse this time is a good sign.

Yerroblemom1923 · 11/10/2023 10:27

Nausea week 6 - 12, then felt fine.

Scaredycats · 11/10/2023 10:31

Nausea started at 5 weeks, was being sick between weeks 8 and 10. I’m 13 weeks now and it’s settling down a bit.

cosymama2020 · 11/10/2023 12:08

Before I missed my period! It’s so bad now I’ve
got a doctors appointment later today. 6+4 today and don’t remember feeling this sick with my last pregnancy!

PinkRoses1245 · 11/10/2023 12:25

I was never sick, I had nausea on and off from week 4.

Lavenderosa · 11/10/2023 12:27

No sickness or nausea with any of them or any other symptoms.

Blue2020 · 11/10/2023 14:42

Nausea started at week 6, sickness 7-13 inclusive but got worse over time. So to start it was 1-2 mornings a week and by the end it was 3x a day. Then it suddenly stopped as I assume the placenta took over.

Good luck, hopefully it stays away for you.
