Did you use a pregnancy belt?

Throughout my pregnancy (in 2nd trimester) I’ve had hip pain and lower pelvis oak . Midwife says that it’s muscles relaxing. I am waiting for an NHS referral to a physio. I am looking at other ways to stay comfortable and came across pregnancy belts. I do hope that this eases the pain.

Has anyone had this? What did you do to ease it and what pregnancy belts would you recommend? Did you ever use one?

I did. I can't remember what is was called but it went around hips and under bump then a strap across the bump. It really helped my hips

I just picked the cheapest one off Amazon. I wished I’d done it sooner, any belt is going to make a difference in helping you carry the load.

Yeah I use one and I wouldn’t be without it. I definitely notice the difference if I forget to put it on when walking. They’re only about £25 off Amazon but worth every penny.

I had one from jojo mama and it helped. A pregnancy pillow helps too with your knee at an angle (a pillow under it is good too if you can’t get a pregnancy pillow). Also a bath at the end of the day helped me feel more comfortable.

Pregnancy yoga really helped in my first pregnancy; in my second I couldn’t get to the classes but still did some I found online

Yeah I had one and found it really helped.

I’m near the end of my second trimester and have some twinges so bought the Lola & Lykke core relief pregnancy support belt, and the Core Restore Postpartum Support Band (just in case) as they were really well recommended online. Combined they would cost about £180 new, I got both off Vinted for less than £20.

Can obviously only comment this far on the first belt, but really find it helps if I’m on my feet a fair bit.

Have fallen in love with Vinted too and recommend a peruse!

Such great tips! Thanks everyone! I have a belt coming in the post. I will definitely scroll through Vinted and try a few pregnancy yoga classes x
