Pains 5 weeks pregnant

Hi all, I’m 5 weeks and 1 day pregnant. I keep having on and off type period pains which I have read is normal but I am also getting some random stabbing pains in my pelvic area. Did anyone else get these pains early on? Thanks!

Yes and lots of it
Often stabbing pain was on one side x

Exactly what I’m feeling!!! I’ve been in panic mode thinking I’m having an ectopic! X

Honestly you would be so surprised how at early on everything starts start to stretch.

Thank you for the reassurance. It feels worse than period pains at times which only last about 30 seconds every 15 minutes or so!

I was the same around 6/7 weeks, I ended up at the EPU because I was convinced it was an ectopic. It stopped after a couple of weeks and turned into awful ligament pains😬

Yes I got a lot of this and still do get it from time to time. Period type cramps as well as an achy feeling inside. I’m 13 weeks now!

Hi @Scaredycats and others, I am wondering how long your pains lasted in early pregnancy? I had intermittent pain for about 1.5 weeks (4-5.5 weeks) and nothing for the last 4 days which is worrying me...is it normal for them to disappear so early on?
