Hi all,

Just looking for help. I had a MMC in June and have been trying to get pregnant again since. I've just done a test and I can see a line!
Please tell me someone else can see this too 😬

Am I pregnant?

I’d really like some advice,

I took a pregnancy test last Wednesday which had a faint positive on it I then went on to take about 15 more over the next few days mostly all one brand all which had faint lines on too. I used some another brand which still positives. I ovulated on the 22nd of September and my last period was 7th September and we had unprotected sex on two occasions whilst I was ovulating.

On Sunday a bought a digital, just a ‘yes or no’ and it said yes.
So I should tomorrow be 5 weeks pregnant.
I’ve taken tests every day, morning (fmu) and again when I get home from work. I don’t drink much water or other liquids through out the day and my evening tests always seem slightly darker than my fmu tests but they’re never blazing positive and haven’t been since I first tested on Wednesday 4th October it’s always been a faint positive.

I’ve had very little symptoms other than really sore breasts, a tiny bit of dark brown discharge one day and some again today which had a hint of red in it. And fatigue but I’m always fatigued anyway. I’ve felt slightly nauseous at times but it hasn’t lasted. I’ve also had some cramping every now and then but it only last a few seconds and goes away.

I have polycystic ovarian syndrome and have had 2 miscarriages previously so I’m getting anxious and stressing my self out over this. I know I just need to either be happy I’m pregnant and let my body do its job or just accept it wasn’t meant to be.

@Ajayyxo you might be better off starting your own thread.

By the sounds of it, after having sex twice in your fertile period you've had multiple positive pregnancy tests and missed your period. This would suggest you're pregnant. Why do you think otherwise? As you know, unfortunately not all pregnancies make it from 5 weeks to terms, but "pregnant until proven otherwise" may be a helpful mindset for you. Take your vitamins, look after your body and mind, refer to your local midwife team and try not to think about it too much.

Ajayyxo · 10/10/2023 21:16

I’m thinking otherwise because my tests aren’t getting any darker and today they seem lighter and now I’ve had this bit of brown discharge

Whataretheodds · 10/10/2023 21:21

Tracking the tests isn't recommended as it's far from foolproof. A little implantation bleeding as pink, red or brown blood isn't at all unusual. As it's so early noone can give you the certainty you're looking for but the fact you've got to this point is a really positive sign.

Thank you. That helps :) x
