Growth scan/ lower percentile?

Just wondered if anyone had any insight of or experience regarding growth percentile charts. My growth chart last two times has been following the 90th percentile. (I was being checked for amniotic fluid being on the higher side of normal now that’s seems ok)- but on this scan it revealed baby was measuring 4 pound 10 at 32 weeks now at 34 weeks measuring 4 pound 15 which is 5 ounces he gained in 2 weeks which means he went from the 90th percentile to 50th percentile, they checked me over and baby and said everything else looks fine and to rescan in 2 weeks. I’m just wondering what this could mean? Could it be a discrepancy in scan measurement or what, anyone experienced this? x

scans particularly later on are notoriously inaccurate, my baby was 50th centile at 36 weeks, born at 39 weeks 2nd centile. A friend was repeatedly called back for having a small baby and offered induction at 39 weeks, baby was 8 pounds

@Ljhunt i wonder why they are so out the scans later on? Seems since 32 weeks it was the fluid now that’s fine now it’s the size. I’m 34 weeks now awaiting my next scan at 36 weeks I’m just wondering if he only put on abit of weight again or if it goes down for example what would they likely do? I’m just trying to prepare that if there is a possibility would they c section me at 36 weeks? I’m due for c section at 39 weeks x
