Hi. I'm 4 weeks today and for a week I have had constant cramps/dull ache and a low backache. I've had 3 chemical pregnancies over the last year... is this another early miscarriage?

Not necessarily. I had period like cramps at 4 and 5 weeks. Now over 10 weeks and all is fine. They seemed to stop at 6 weeks and we went for an early scan at 7 weeks for peace of mind.

It's hard to tell.
Having cramps is normal at this stage.
Are your test lines getting darker?

Hi I had a miscarriage in May with no bleeding. At week 4 I started experiencing shoulder pain then lower back pain. I was also experiencing very sharp abdominal pains that was coming and going however when I went for my scan my babys heart was present but that was short lived and around 2 weeks later my breast stopped hurting and I just knew something wasn't right. I woke up and booked a scan at a private clinic and my worse fears was confirmed however sometimes you do experience abdominal pain that is not a miscarriage

@TheShellBeach yes, my lines are getting darker. I've been testing every other day.

I felt mild cramping for ages so not necessarily a concern as long as it's not strong cramping.

Not necessarily I had constant cramps first 2 weeks, all good so far

@TheShellBeach yes, my lines are getting darker. I've been testing every other day.

In that case this doesn't seem to be a chemical pregnancy. I have a feeling that your previous sad experiences are making you panic.

I had cramps for the first few weeks, felt like I was getting my period for ages! I think they disappeared around the the 7/8 week mark. I was worried initially then almost found it reassuring as I never got the tugging and pulling that others mentioned.

Now 30 weeks!

I have just tested positive today and would be 4 weeks + 1. I’ve had my usual pre-period abdominal cramps and lower back ache for the past few days. Abdominal cramps felt a bit different today like tugging so that’s why I tested. They haven’t subsided so I’ve been wondering but everything I’ve read online says it can be normal. Best of luck to us all

I’m 4 weeks ish (found out 5 days ago) having some dull cramps and light brown discharge today on what should be day 32 of my cycle (the day my period previously started).

I think my lines are getting darker on tests today (third photo) so hoping it’s all normal & nothing to worry about.
