Morning sickness

So I'm 6weeks 5 days and I've been suffering with such bad sickness, unable to eat. Since yesterday evening it has eased, ALOT, I basically do not feel sick this morning.

Should I be worried? As I'm really worried.
I always hear that symptoms easing is a bad sign 😔

I had this in my first pregnancy - really sick then absolutely nothing overnight! Scared me silly. I ended up booking a private scan for reassurance but everything was fine!

This happened to me then it came back again a few days later. I'm now nearly eight weeks and it's pretty bad.

I didn’t have bad morning sickness but all my symptoms disappeared by 6 weeks and then returned just after 8 weeks . I was really worried and like a pp said, booked an early 6 week scan for reassurance.

I wouldn't worry about it. It will likely come back.

I had morning sickness for the first 16-17 weeks and it was definitely an ebb and flow of how sick I was feeling. I also got myself worked up over days where I didn’t feel as sick (pregnancy anxiety is terrible) but it often came crashing back the next day to remind me 😅

I just focused on other symptoms, no period, big boobs, heightened sense of smell to remind me it was still definitely there!

Private scans always an option 😊

I am 6 weeks 3 days (hello!) and I have found my sore nipples have disappeared but I would think my symptoms are going to pop up somewhere else or the nipples are going to go on fire again anytime in the next few days.

If you're really worried go for a reassurance scan but but is is normal for things to change day on day (or sometimes hour by hour judging by nausea).

Don't suffer, go Dr's for medication, it changed my life (at the time)

I'm 6+5 today too! Hi!

My advice is to enjoy it while it lasts, you'll be feeling sick again soon. It's totally normal for it to ebb and flow, hit at different times of the day, or give you a day off sometimes.

This happened to me. Terrible sickness with my second until around 8 weeks and it stopped completely for about 2 weeks. It worried me too but all was fine x

Hey all!

So I am 8+3 with my 1st and feeling HORRIFIC with nausea!! I'm trying everything, ginger, acupressure bands, bland foods, plenty of rest etc etc.

Feels to be ramping up and I am so worried this is going to last for the whole pregnancy. I appreciate that everyone is different but when should this start to ease up?? I need to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel 😂

I want to potentially speak to the Dr about anti-nausea tabs but are these safe? Thalidomide was used to treat morning sickness (granted years ago!!) so I am a little scared.

Is there anything else that people have used to help the sickness or is it a case of just riding it out.

Any advice on when this may be over and what to do to help would be very gratefully received! Thanks
