Hi everyone,

I had an early miscarriage in the summer and somehow miraculously found out I was pregnant again in September.

I’m 5 weeks + 5 days based on LMP but my pregnancy test said 3+ weeks when I last did one on Saturday whereas my previous one never got past 1-2 weeks.

However today I’ve just found a tiny bit of very light brown discharge in my underwear which is exactly how my mc started so I’m terrified I’m about to have another. Last time it took another 24 hours before it turned pink then the next morning it was red so I know it’s a waiting game but I can’t stand it.

I’ve read as many as these posts as I can but just getting overwhelmed with info.

Has anyone had very light brown discharge at 5-6 weeks and it was ok? I’m so scared right now, it’s such a light colour it’s hard to work out what colour it is, all I know is it’s a different colour than usual and it’s the same as last time

Jumping on this thread as this has been so reassuring to me these past 2 days!
I had brown spotting 3 days ago, then again yesterday and this morning when I wiped there was brown discharge. I also have a dull pain in my lower abdomen slightly to the left. From my LMP I should be 6 weeks and 6 days. I rung my EPU for advice and as I have recently had a coil out they brought me in for a scan. During the scan I saw the fetal pole and heartbeat! They dated me at actually only 5w5d. The nurse said that whilst they would never want to normalise bleeding and to always ask for advice, that spotting is actually very common early on. Not sure on the reason for mine but she said it could be around the time my period would have been and linked to that! Feel much more reassured and the EPU were great. It's hard not to get carried away with our thoughts and over googling isn't it!
