Evening everyone!

I'm 10 weeks this week. For the first 3 weeks of knowing I was pregnant I was getting nausea and tiredness and my boobs were tender and ached.

But I've been waking up feeling let's say "not pregnant". I just feel normal like nothing is happening. Has anyone else felt like this? I'm slightly worried or maybe I'm just lucky to be feeling ok?

I had a scan at 6 weeks as I had some bleeding and little bubba was there with a heartbeat. Biscuit

Any stories I'd love to hear! Thank you!

Totally normal. It comes and goes. With my first I had symptoms for 8 weeks and then nothing until 25. With my second no symptoms at all until end.

Currently 12 weeks and haven't felt pregnant since I was 9 weeks. Have my scan tomorrow so I'll let you know if it's normal for me! Tho I had a mmc in January and still had symptoms, growing belly etc x

I think it is normal too. I’m just over 10 weeks and my nausea is starting to ease (though I still have the hunger and sore boobs). Went for a scan today and all is well. Like the pp said, symptoms come and go.

Good luck for tomorrow 😁

Is it a private scan or NHS?

Completely normal 😊 Symptoms seem to wane around that time as your placenta kicks in.

I was the same, I felt really sick up until 8 weeks then suddenly it just stopped! I was so anxious from then but was all fine at my 12 week scan! Just wanted to share as I was desperately searching for stories online when I was going through the same!

Suchardchoccy · 01/10/2023 21:43

Totally normal. It happened with both my pregnancies. Currently trying for my third! Good luck!

Lantyslee · 01/10/2023 21:45

Some people don't have "symptoms" at all so I wouldn't worry. I didn't know I was pregnant with no3 until I was 16 weeks (I was breastfeeding no2 and wasn't having periods)

Ttcmumma · 01/10/2023 21:48

@princessb1993 usual NHS 12 week scan, I had a 6 week scan and all was well but I had a scan before my last baby died that looked good so I don't trust until I atleast get past tomorrow's scan lol. Thank you!! xx

Same here, definitely felt it during the first few weeks and ate huge amounts of Walker's chicken crisps to get rid of the nausea. Soon went and didn't even get a tummy bump until 25 weeks. Nobody could tell and and I swam every day up until the day before the birth. Pregnancy was really easy peasy for me and I was almost 42!

Just an update Hun, still don't feel pregnant and had my scan this morning. All good baby is measuring ahead at 13 weeks x

XenaTheWarriorPrincess · 02/10/2023 10:36

Around 10 weeks is prime time for placenta to be taking over, so a loss or reduction of symptoms is totally normal.

Usually happens around 10-13 weeks.

I'm also 10 weeks now and praying my symptoms calm down soon. It's been a nightmare few weeks.

I read about the placenta taking over! Around this time, my symptoms went around 7 weeks which is why I worried!
