Sat on the toilet last night and this fell out as a blob.

is it just discharge or my plug?

i'm 37+3.

Could be. I lost a bit of mine at a similar time. They grow back as well so could just be a bit that's come loose and not necessarily a sign of things starting.

And also, just to add, when I did finally lose my plug, it was very bloody, and that was whilst I was in labour.
