I believe I'm 6 weeks pregnant or just under (my period never returned after my missed miscarriage and surgical management in June this year). On Saturday I woke up feeling like I had wet myself and when going to the toilet, saw that bright red blood had soaked through everything. 111 referred me to the EPU and was seen two days ago for a scan. During the scan they said they could see a sac and something about 1mm but they can’t say or not whether it’s a viable pregnancy. They said I need to come back in 2 weeks for another scan to determine the outcome. In the meantime they have put me on progesterone.
Since the scan I've had near enough constant bleeding. Some heavier some lighter but always there when I wipe. Im not getting through the '2 pads in an hour' worry though. Earlier today I had a big gush of blood and a large clot whilst on the toilet. I've had no pain.
I know there's a good chance I've lost this baby (I had a missed miscarriage earlier in the year) but I just wondered if anyone had similar experiences and had this much bleeding and it was ok?
