Hi all,

I have my 12 week scan later today and the worries are flooding in. I had a 12 weeks scan earlier this year in March where we found out our baby wasn’t developing well and had a large nuchal fold. Things ended not long after that. I’m absolutely petrified about today and the same thing happening. I’ve had three scans already and all came back “normal” but also it was too early to tell if anything was wrong with development.

I know I’m just panicking, rambling and trying to find odds in my favour. I don’t think I could cope going through the same thing again. Does anyone have any positive stories after a late miscarriage?

Thanks in advance.

The chances of your scan going bad today are very very low as although not impossible, it's very rare to have 2 late miscarriages in a row. I'm sure everything will be fine today.

It went really well thank you. Everything so far looks normal 🤞🏻 I need to start relaxing and enjoying this pregnancy now. Thanks for checking in x

Awe yay, congratulations!!

I totally get your feeling, I was an anxious mess with my son - think scans every 2 weeks, private 💸 thankfully he was healthy and is now nearly 2! 😮‍💨

I thought I was 5+6 Thursday, went for an early scan to measure 5+2, everything in place but no HB.. another scan Thursday and hoping all okay! Even second time round I'm just anxious! But enjoy it, my regret with my son was I didn't and if all goes ok Thursday I'm going to enjoy this time round!
