Hello, does anybody know when the covid booster will be available for pregnant ladies again? Thanks.

My area no longer do covid boosters for pregnancy unless you have underlying conditions that qualify you. Only flu and whooping cough.

Ohh I thought they were going to roll it out again shortly? I could be wrong though.

I booked mine through the nhs booking website. Getting it this afternoon at a local chemist.

IME no one in the NHS has a clue what the guidance is now supposed to be for covid vaccines in pregnancy.

I got told to look it up at my booking appointment. Now i’m 30 weeks, not been offered it, only the flu jab. My midwife friend in a different trust says they haven’t actually had an update as to what to advise pregnant women now.

None of my friends who have been pregnant since having the original 3 vaccines have chosen to have it.

It’s available to pregnant women via the NHS website (just put your NHS number in and it asks if you’re pregnant, then gives you access to booking).

My last midwife appointment was a couple of weeks ago and she said I’d be offered both flu and COVID vaccines (already had whooping cough one) so I’m not sure whether to wait and see if I can get both done together or just book the COVID one myself.

Thanks for this thread :) I went on the NHS app and it let me book one for Tuesday.

Googling whether pregnant women are eligible the guidance is way out of date, so glad I saw this on mumsnet.

Just had mine, all good. Hoping I stay side effect free like my last jabs 🤞🏻

@ES1986 that's great I'm glad you're sorted!

@BabyBabyBaby123 ahh awesome, I am sure you will if you were fine with the others. I have my flu one tomorrow, I'm going to try and ask them to do covid too!
