Hi all, I had a private gender scan at 15W 6D and was told girl, at the 20 week NHS scan I had asked if she could confirm girl as I was worried about it being wrong but she was not very reassuring with a very brisk run over over the area (didn’t stop to look) and said very nonchalantly “yeah I’d say it’s probably a girl as well” which wasn’t all that reassuring. I’m now 32 and have been on and off stressing about it as have bought lots of pink, decorated for a girl etc and have names ready. Both me and my partner are desperate for her to be a girl!
Been debating paying for another private to have a look as would definitely be accurate by now but also scared it could then be boy.
I look back on the photos and video from the private scan and it does look girl, just has me worried it’s maybe hiding and people keep saying I’m carrying low it’s a boy, I’m big for my gestation so it’s a boy, and or that they feel it’s a boy, and the lack of sickness and other girl symptoms mean it’s a boy, which I know they’re myths but it doesn’t help a first time mum when you’re hearing all this!
Sorry it’s so long, I’ll add photos from the gender scan, if anyone can then help with whether they think it’s a girl or if I should go for another scan to be sure!
