Mild dull ache just underneath belly button - 18 weeks pregnant, is this normal?

Hey everyone,

Just looking for some advice/thoughts. I’m currently 18 weeks pregnant and for the last two days have been feeling a mild dull ache just to the right of my belly button. It’s not a sharp pain or a period like pain, it’s more like someone is poking me from the inside. It’s not baby moving as yesterday it was constant all day & I know feelings aren’t much at this stage (plus I have an anterior placenta) - today it’s been better, has been far less. My midwife doesn’t seemed concerned and says it’s “normal” but doesn’t offer any insight as to what it is..

Has anyone had this? Everything I see is about sharp pain or period like pain but I can’t find about this especially around the belly button area. I’m sure it’s probably stretching & as it’s got better I would assume nothing to worry about but I’m just unsure what it is.

Any thoughts or anyone experience before? I noticed it seems better when I’m standing/walking and if I’m not leaning.

Thanks!
