Transverse lie at 32 weeks

Just wondered if anyone had had experience of this? Scan has confirmed baby is transverse , midwife has said we will give him a couple more weeks to turn and take it from there. From what I've read it's fairly uncommon at this stage, anyone experienced this?

Yes. My baby turned late. Made me vomit weirdly. Was a big baby.

They can turn quite late - 2 of mine have done this. I don't even feel them turning.

My first was unstable and transverse for weeks - settled head down about 39+5. They wanted to do a CS at 37 weeks to eliminate risk of chord prolapse but I refused and opened for monitoring as i didn't feel he was ready, he was born at 41.

I'm 34 weeks now and baby is spinning - he was breech at 32 and I'm sure is moving between head down, breech and transverse. I expect he'll probably settle head down at about 39 weeks again.

Spinning babies website is supposed to be good for techniques to help turn babies naturally - I don't know if it helped me but I doubt it hurt and it made me feel like i was doing something, so worth a look.

Yes but my baby didn't turn so I had to go in for them to turn her. It worked initially but then she turned back before eventually turning the right way again. I live far from the hospital so they kept me in after the turn just to make sure she didn't bounce back and then kept me in when she did and then I was eventually induced.

Doesn't matter till 36/40

I wouldn’t worry too much at this stage, my current was breech at 32 weeks and moved by 34 weeks. My first was transverse at 38 weeks and by the time they booked me in for a scan the next day she’d moved to head down. Baby can still move easily until around 36 weeks
