When to call about combined screening results

I had my dating/NT scan 2 weeks ago today. Was told that if high risk I would get a phone call within a week, and if low risk a letter within 2 weeks.

obviously it has now been 2 weeks and no letter or phone call - I’m starting to get a bit worried in case my results have been missed. Would it be reasonable to call and ask for them? Or text community midwife?

just worried as I already had to call up to rearrange my dating scan appt (they had booked it for when I would be 14 weeks - too late for the screening) and the receptionist wasn’t happy when I wanted to change the appointment

Ring your midwife if you are worried but it’s one of those things where no news is good news. Likely the post is just slow. Mine took closer to 3 weeks to arrive

Mine was very slow to come. I ended up having my 16 week midwife appointment before I received the letter, and scan was at 12+6 (though pushed me forward to 13+4). So I agree with PP mine ended up being more than 3 weeks, but no news was good news!

no harm in asking your midwife but if you were high risk they would’ve rung you quickly :)

texted cmw today and she has updated Badger for me.

1/49000 for downs and 1/50000 for edwards/Pataus so no news was good news ☺️
