Hi all, just looking to hear of other people’s experiences.

I am currently 6w6d pregnant with much wished for baby no 2. Other than some stretching feelings in my tummy and backache, I have not had many symptoms at all. I have also had very occasional bouts of feeling a bit sick and am extremely bloated.

I remember with DS I was VERY sicky at this stage and couldn’t eat or be around food, not to mention the mad dash to the loo if I got a whiff of the smell of coffee 🤢.

I suffered a miscarriage before DS and think my brain has gone into overdrive thinking the worst. I am just looking for some reassurance really ladies.

Thanks in advance 😊

I'm the same boat. I'm 5+4 today and feel a bit sick but it's nothing compared to what I felt with my son. It's really worrying as the three pregnancies I've had since him have all been miscarriages and all have had next to no sickness :(

shivawn · 18/09/2023 08:37

I had no symptoms in my first trimester for pregnancy number one, didn't find out I was pregnant until 11 weeks in. Pregnancy number 2 I was just a bit more tired than usual. Lack of symptoms never worried me at all, I was always grateful for easy pregnancies.

It's very normal to have no symptoms or lots of symptoms or a few symptoms. If you're achey, extremely bloated and having occasional bouts of sickness then you have far more symptoms than I ever did. I wouldn't be concerned at all.

I barely had any symptoms with dc 2 and 3. Was sick as a dog and asleep on my feet with dd.

My symptoms didn’t really kick in until 8-9 weeks in terms of sickness and then it was horrid. Before that I was just lethargic and bloated (and very anxious!)

My sister had no symptoms with one pregnancy and load with her other. Try not to worry (easier said than done!) and take each day as it comes, and congratulations! 💓

Hi @Cookz
At 6 weeks, i was bloated and had some nausea. This is baby number 2 for me too, i had different symptoms with my first baby.
Don't worry hun, totally normal to feel like this at 6 weeks xx
Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I'm 6weeks with my first and also and have no symptoms other than feeling very tired and occasional weird/discomfort in my lower abdomen like 'something is happening' otherwise no usual pregnancy symptoms they say to expect.

Thank you for all of your replies.
It is really reassuring to know that others are also feeling the same. The early days are so nerve wracking aren’t they?
Congratulations to you all and thank you for sharing with me ♥️

I didn't even realise I was pregnant until I was 6 weeks as I had no symptoms at all. I wasn't tracking my periods so I hadn't noticed I was late and all I could point to was being REALLY tired but I put it down to moving house and starting a new job!

I could have written this post OP!

6+4 today with baby 2 and feel nothing like I did with my daughter! I could barely go into the kitchen at this stage and had aversions to a lot of things! And the dry boaking was outrageous! I couldn't even exercise! This time i have sore boobs, bloated, the occasional bout of boaking but other than that okay! Ran a 5k before work yesterdsy! I've got an early scan on Wednesday afternoon!

Have had a previous MMC so trying to stay chill but the symptoms thing is throwing me a bit!

I had zero symptoms with my 2nd pregnancy after a pretty bad first pregnancy.

It was weird and felt surreal - I just didn't feel pregnant at all.
