Positive or evaporation pregnancy test?

Hi, im now two days late for my period & i took a test two days before i was due which was a negative, i then did a test the day before my period was due and in the picture i cant tell if it is a evaporation line or faint positive? Can anyone help please x

i have recently been testing positive on all my blue tests but not on the pink ones, i am unsure if i am pregnant or not, i am due on this week so would it show up or not? im due my bloods back soon but in the meantime i am stressed because i have been trying to concieve?

can anyone help?

Those blue ones look like evap lines. The line looks too thin to be a real positive. It doesn't mean you're definitely not pregnant. But I wouldn't count those as positive unfortunately.

Edit: I'm referring to the ones with the cross. Im unsure what brand those other two blue dye strips are.

@beccaltt my first positive was on a clearblue one and the line looked like that hours after the test was taken. My lines are still not very strong on red dye tests even at 7 weeks, but on clearblue or blue dye tests, they are super strong and dye stealers. Only reason I say this is because it looks to have colour. They're indents or evap if there isn't any colour x

thank you, i thought so as the picture was taken literally 5 minutes after testing so i didnt think they would be evap lines xx

That's just not true with clear blue tests. Their evaps 100% have colour. I have had many many myself. (Always after the time limit though). There are many posts on here and other forums of people with dark blue lines and they are not pregnant. I'm not saying @beccaltt isn't pregnant, but while you had tests that looked like that and were pregnant, I and many others have had the same and not been pregnant. I personally just wouldn't get my hopes up yet until its confirmed with either a digital or blood test.

@beccaltt what are those other 2 blue test strips? What brand? If they're a reliable brand maybe they are best to go by.

Did another one this morning and negative so I guess this isn’t my month after 2 years I think I finally give up!!

Would you say these are evap lines? Me and my partner have been trying but not sure if this is a true result or not, the one that is the strongest line I left for about 10 mins where as the weaker one I had left all day.

Hi! So I am 19 and not trying to conceive. I took a test two days ago after missing my period for 4 days. I have headaches and lower back cramps and a bit of nausea, all of which can be a sign of regular PMS. The test I took had a quite a thin dark blue line but the one I took today was extremely feint and resembles more of an evaporation line. Does anyone have any idea why the line would change like this? Please help out. Thanks so much and sending lots of baby dust to those trying !
