First time being pregnant. I'm approaching 13 weeks, we've had scans, baby is fine. I've got a little bit of a bump but not really experiencing symptoms other than tiredness and sore breasts. Has anyone else had this? Where you don't really feel like you're pregnant despite baby being fine?

Absolutely, I think this is completely normal as you just can't feel or see the baby. I am 37 weeks and feel the baby move all the time but sometimes I still forget that I am pregnant 😀

It will be sinking in the more visible you are but for some it might only sink in when giving birth!

Although I looked pregnant I didn't really feel pregnant until quite late one when DD started kicking me in the ribs- I had anterior placenta so that was really the only time I felt movements- oh and when the reflux kicked in but I'd say I was easily 30 weeks by that point. We all hear stories of constant sickness and feeling rubbish but it's like anything you only really hear about the bad side and not the 1000's that breeze through pregnancy without really noticing until you suddenly can't tie your shoes 😂 xx

Very normal I'd say. Other than sore boobs/cramps at the very beginning, I had no pregnancy symptoms and didn't start showing for ages. I knew everything was progressing fine so wasn't worried, but I did feel very impatient!

Oh God, enjoy it!

Not having periods, having a positive pregnancy test and having positive scans are all good symptoms in my book!

All sounds good to me. I've been sick for over a month with all day nausea so believe me, you've lucked out lol. Lots of women seem to get minimal symptoms so don't worry.

@KatePem I am about 13 weeks as well and whilst I had a bit of nausea up until 11 weeks ish, I now only have sore breasts (but much less sore than they used to be) and a bitter taste in my mouth from time to time. I think it's normal to feel un-pregnant as we enter the second trimester since the placenta took over producing hormones. If scan are OK and baby is fine, no need to worry.

I'm 16+3 and I feel the same! This is my 2nd and I think I can occasionally feel flutters, but apart from that and like you say the sore boobs and tiredness - I wouldn't know I was pregnant 😅I'll enjoy it whilst it lasts lol
