Severe nausea

I’m currently 6 weeks +4 days pregnant, I’ve been suffering with severe nausea for 1 week already, it’s just getting worse everyday. Struggling to eat which is worrying because I’m so skinny anyway so Im terrified to lose weight. I’ve been taking prochlorperazine/stemetil which I think is just stopping me from vomiting but the nausea is 24/7 and is absolutely debilitating. I’ve tried everything from ginger sweets/ biscuits/ tea, eating little and often but nothing is helping, if anything it’s making the nausea worse. I’m having to call in sick at work, I just feel like it’s never going to end. Did anyone else suffer from nausea from 5 weeks and when did it end for you?? I feel like I need a timeframe just to get me through this. I’ve been searching and people say it “peaks” at 9/10 weeks I was just really hoping it would stop much sooner.

those first few months were brutal! I was bed bound for 8 weeks could hardly keep myself alive! It did start to improve as the second trimester arrived but was still nauseous all day. I am now 30 weeks and still nauseous all day although not as intense as the first and second trimester! Keep going back to the GP for meds - Ondansetron works wonders for some, although it’s not really helped my nausea but stopped the vomiting!
stay hydrated and eat whatever you crave before it ends up repulsing you. Rest as much as you can and hope it improves soon for you :)

Hi I am currently week 9 and been suffering with Nausea since week 5, i was losing so much weight so I was prescribed Prochloperazine by my GP. It really helps and allows me to eat so im so grateful for it! Although as safe as they say it is, im just starting to feel a little wary of the fact i am taking 3 tablets a day of 5mg which I know is a very low dose, I am just a worrier! Can anyone else share their experience with the medication and how much they were taking if or if not the same amount? Thanks
