6w 4days and Bleeding below uterus? Threatened Miscarriage? HELP!

Hello everyone,
This is my first pregnancy so really dont know what to expect.
I was having cramping very early on in pregnancy around 4 weeks. EPU did an ultrasound but nothing showed however they picked up on bleeding below the uterus. Another scan was done around 5w6days and a little heart beat was found but again bleeding below the uterus.
Theyve said thats whats causing the cramping and lower back pain and no further checks will be done now just the regular ultrasounds and check ups. Has anyone had something similar before?

Would also like to add they have also said its a 'threatened miscarriage'.

Didn't want to read and run! I am also 4 weeks and have been suffering with cramping.

I'm sure someone with more knowledge soon will be along soon, but as I understood it a threatened miscarriage was just that- potentially could, but also lots of chance you won't.

@Huriya I'm in a very similar boat. 9+6 with ivf pregnancy. Had a fresh bleed at 5 weeks, spotting at 7 weeks and now bleed again since yesterday. I went to my epu yesterday who did a reassurance scan and baby was there with a heartbeat but I have a large hematoma next to the gestational sac. The bleeding is worse today but I've been told to watch and wait now until 12 week scan on 27th of this month! I may book a private one before then to check everything is okay!
Its so scary and causes so much anxiety, I understand how you feel, it's a forever waiting game xx

@MRSLMF It deffo is scary I agree! You havent got long left till your 12w appointment. Ive still gotoo wait around 6 weeks for mine 🥺
Ive been having odd cramping and lower back pain. Im literally exhausted from it all.

@Huriya I'm the same low back ache and cramping, if it doesn't settle your epu should see you again before 6 weeks. Fingers crossed the bleeding stops or atleast calms down for you xx
