How do you count your pregnancy?
Would you still be 5 weeks upon finding out? When you went for a scan, did it get adjusted to EDD earlier or later?
My luteal phase is really long. Not sure why and what affect this will have?

(I know I am ovulating. Will be trying soon)

I didn’t conceive. I had to take letrozole to shorten my cycle.

Initially your pregnancy will be dated from your LMP however long your cycle is but this is adjusted for all women at the 12 week scan where an EDD is given from the measurements taken.

I've conceived both times with a long cycle. I'm currently 9+3 based on my LMP, 8+3 based on my ovulation dates and 9+0 based on the measurements from my early scan. So we will see what they go with at the 12 week scan!

I have conceived 3 times on cycles varying between 35-45 days. Every time I have just explained about my cycles and the due date is adjusted based on how far along you are at 12 week scan. All 3 times I have been less far along than I ‘should’ have been going by LMP.

Mine used to be 32 to 35. Never really had a problem conceiving, varied between first time and 7 months.

Like a PP said they usually just adjust the date at your dating scan.

Fingers crossed for you Flowers

I came on to say not to worry, they will confirm your due date at the 12-week scan 😊.

I have a similar cycle length to you but still ovulate 14/15 days before my period - I can't remember what 'leutal phase' means, haha so not sure if that's the same as you or the other way round. 😅 I also conceived with medication (Clomid) but wasn't ovulating by myself at the time.

Lastly, I remember having an early scan where I told them about my strange periods and gave them my EDD but they wouldn't change the one based on LMP until the 12-week scan (I was correct!). Theirs was too late.
