Just that really - I recently found out I’m pregnant and not sure when to expect it

Every pregnancy is different, you may not get any sickness at all.

I started to become nauseaus around 6 weeks and was being physically sick by week 7. I had it quite bad and lost a stone, was dehydrated, could barely eat and was off work for 2 months. Around week 17/18 was when I started to feel a lot better.

TTCJJB · 09/09/2023 17:44

I never had any sickness.

lucya66 · 09/09/2023 17:47

Sick weeks 6-21 vomiting most mornings

culleyace · 09/09/2023 17:50

From 5 weeks until the day she was born.

Mumof1andacat · 09/09/2023 17:50

No sickness or nausea for me the whole time.

qazxc · 09/09/2023 17:52

Constantly nauseous from week 5 to 15. Very tired also. I called it the puking zombie phase. But it varies from person to person.

DramaAlpaca · 09/09/2023 17:57

In all my pregnancies it ended at about 20 weeks.

It started at nine weeks, twelve weeks (just as I finished breastfeeding) and five weeks. All day nausea and full on puking each time, it was grim.

Sorry, I know that's not what you wanted to hear! My three gorgeous sons were worth it though.

TobiasForgesContactLense · 09/09/2023 17:59

Nausea from 6 to 13 weeks. I generally felt well in the morning and it was worse as the day went on. No actual vomiting.

My SIL was sick every day from 5 weeks onwards getting a little better in the third trimester with both of hers.

You really can't know as each pregnancy is different

raevans · 09/09/2023 19:48

Congratulations! 😄

Nausea kicked in for me around 5-6 weeks but actual vomiting was weirdly around 25+. weeks for me. Some days I’d be fine and then other days out of no where I’d be sick (and that wasn’t even necessarily the morning, could have been afternoon or evening for me).

DesTeeny · 09/09/2023 19:51

No nausea or vomiting at all with first baby, but this second one has kicked my butt. I felt nauseous from about 3 weeks (yep I found out that early!) until about 20 weeks.

Every pregnancy is completely different, you can't base your expectations on the experiences of others. I thought I'd be fine because I was with my first and I felt terrible, and they're both girls so it's not even like it's because they're different genders etc.!

giddy90 · 09/09/2023 19:52

I had sickness straight away and this continued until wee one was born but everybody is different.

Cinnamonswirl1 · 09/09/2023 19:53

As others have said, every pregnancy is so different.
1st pregnancy I felt nauseous from 6 to 9 weeks, only vomited once and generally had it pretty easy.
2nd pregnancy I felt horrendous from 6/7 to 18 weeks, vomited regularly, slept a lot and really struggled to eat.
Both girls!

ladygindiva · 09/09/2023 20:09

First pregnancy : puked multiple times every day from week six to week 42 ( sorry)
Second pregnancy: twins, never actually puked but felt nauseous sporadically daily from week 8/9 to about week 16. It's a lottery!

ladygindiva · 09/09/2023 20:09

Oh and mine were all girls!

preggo39 · 09/09/2023 20:20

6.5 weeks to about 11. But it got much better from about 10. I never actually puked, just felt extremely sick and retched quite a lot. And it was much worse in the evenings. I also had to have a nap at least once a day.

Seryse · 09/09/2023 20:23

DD 1 (19 years old now) started around 8 weeks, ended around 34.

DS (16 months now) started 4+3 and never ended until the c section at 37 weeks. I had severe hyperemisis (severe morning sickness) with him and was I hospital every other week for IV fluids. Lost a total of 9 stone the entire pregnancy (I had a fair bit to lose, but that was drastic lol) and felt like shit the whole time, was signed off work with it from 5 weeks and had to go on mat leave at 34 weeks cause of it.

DD 2 (13 weeks old now) only felt sick if my partner wore issay mistake aftershave, but never actually puked once. Sailed through that pregnancy, which was handy since I didn't have time to puke with DS being so young while I was pregnant 🤣🤣

Every pregnancy is different, fingers crossed your sickness goes away quick!

Spookymormonhelldream · 09/09/2023 20:28

About week 8. Ended about 10 seconds after baby was born. Sorry!

PinkPink1 · 09/09/2023 20:41

From 8 to around 16 weeks. I had to force myself to eat/drink my calories because it would be dangerous for me to lose weight. I ended up with other ailments after the morning sickness went though!

bakewellbride · 09/09/2023 21:10

I've had 2 babies and never any sickness, not even the tiniest bit. I read somewhere morning sickness affects around 80% of pregnant women so u never know you might be in the lucky 20%. Never had any heartburn either.

Abs8 · 09/09/2023 21:12

Started at 6 weeks and ended at 20 weeks
