Hi,

so I’m currently 6 weeks pregnant with first baby (miscarriage previously)- it might sound stupid, but am I meant to be seeing a doctor inbetween waiting for my first midwife appointment? Or do you just wait and only go to the GP if anything is wrong?
I just don’t want to be sat here not doing anything if I’m meant to be getting bloods or anything like that!!

Generally GPS don’t deal with pregnancy. You’ll have a midwife booking in appointment somewhere around 8-10 weeks where they will do bloods and ask loads of questions about your medical history but you won’t have anything before that. If you have any severe pain or bleeding you go through epu.
