Reassurance I’m doing the right thing

I’m nearly 29 weeks and had to visit the unit again as didn’t feel baby move all day by dinner time so they told me to come in and check - all is fine. Last visit and this one felt like a nuisance and midwive on unit has written in notes about the amount of visits to unit.

I’ve been previously to the unit for reduced movement and also unrelated for anti d due to bleeding however this has been lumped together as a lot of visits.

Just after some thoughts on if I’m being OTT going in re reduced movement at this gestation? When I ask midwive I’m told there’s no pattern this early but yet all advice tells you to report it instantly if any change. I am anxious due to a previous loss but I genuinely would not be phoning/going over if I wasn’t concerned.

Suppose just after thoughts if I’m doing the right thing reporting it or should listen to midwive and not expect any type of pattern. For context I’ve felt movement since 20 weeks and except the episodes of reduced movement have felt baby consistently everyday - very active morning and night so when it’s reduced it really is reduced.

Your not being OTT, if you ever feel like something isn't right it's always best to get it checked out to be on the safe side. X

Not being unreasonable at all. I ended up on appointments for twice weekly monitoring (and several more visits) due to RFM and bleeding. You aren't wasting their time and yes there are some MW who can be quite dismissive / unhelpful in their manner they would prefer to see you than not. The test I used to give myself if I was unsure before calling was 'can I go to bed without worry' 💖

Thank you for the replies. I keep reminding myself the baby will be here in November all being well and all of this will be worth it. its just hard to feel you’re being a nuisance or overly cautious despite all advice saying to get checked if any changes.
