37 weeks extreme fatigue

Hello! Was just wondering if anyone can reassure me the brick wall I feel like I’ve hit is normal and to be expected?

37 weeks today, c-section booked for just under 2 weeks from now. Husband being an absolute godsend so I haven’t been having to cook, clean or do any of the nesting (I realise how lucky I am for this!!) and basically just having to rest, but feel like I’ve reached a state of such exhaustion that getting out of the bath or getting dressed is taking me 3x as long as it should.
I am anaemic and on iron tablets ahead of the c-section, but I’ve had very low iron through the whole pregnancy and not felt like this. Moving the shortest distance has me overheating and breathless and just feeling kind of unwell. Has anyone else had this? I’m sure it’ll resolve when baby comes but there’s so much I want to do in these last few weeks before baby (especially with my DH being off work, I don’t want him spending all his time running about after me!) and I just physically can’t.

Think I’m just after reassurance that it’s normal and not just me 😅

I remember how shit the last few weeks were the first time.. I've recently been diagnosed anemic in this pregnancy and it's properly wiped me out. I can only imagine how tired you're feeling! Never has a hairdryer felt heavier! I'm not looking forward to the final few weeks of pregnancy.

Has the GP retested your iron levels recently... ?Not sure if they would do it without you being proactive. If your levels haven't come up enough could they sort out a transfusion maybe?

You just got to do what you need to do to get through the last few weeks. Lying in bed a lot!

@Bonbontutu I’m so sorry you’re feeling wiped out too! I thought the tiredness in the first trimester was a lot, but this just feels like something else! I’ve got a blood test Monday to check if the iron tablets have got my iron up enough, otherwise they’ll have to do an iron infusion because of anaemia impeding healing etc., it’s reassuring I’m not alone but I’m so sorry you’re also feeling so drained!
Have so many bits on my ‘stuff to do’ list that I wake up and plan to do but then it takes me 2 hours to be up and bathed and moving! It’s ridiculous 😅
