Blood hcg?

I’m trying to work out what if anything my blood hcg result means. I have a history of twins currently pushing for early scan with nhs, mine was 73366 on day 7.2 what was your blood draws around the same time and pregnancy outcomes

To be fair, very few people will be having hcg tests that late into the pregnancy.

It might be twins, it might just be a high value.

Only a scan will tell you! Can you not book a private one?

Do you mean you are 7+2 weeks? If so that level seems pretty in the middle normal levels, not overly high.

Yes sorry, my only reference was 7600 at 7 weeks when I was having a miscarriage

I was pregnant with twins and my HCG at 6 weeks was 27,000. I assume you mean you are 7+2 not 7 days cos if not that's ridiculous.

I was told HCG levels aren't really a good indiction either way as some people have naturally higher or lower HCG. so it's impossible to know. if you want to find out before your 12 weeks then you'll have to book a private scan

@Toria33 i think the normal range varies massively but can be anywhere from 7000 to 160,000. It’s really not a good indicator of anything at this point, you’d need a scan to see how things are going.

Supposed to be getting one in the next week but not had any contact from epu yet, they had the form two days not sure weather to call

Mine was 17,000 on 4+6 which they said was extremely high and it was a singleton baby.

As a PP said, hcg varies hugely from individual to individual and high hcg doesn't often mean twins

epu called and I have a scan booked for Friday morning. I have had multiple miscarriages so apparently now automatic which is reassuring. I hoped for over 15000 and was expecting something below 30000 tbh
